THE BEST Guide for Eqypt

Felt compelled to write this after seeing the comments of the previous reviewer. This is an EXCELLENT guide, instead of wasting money on being carted around en masse on naff tours, save yourself loads of money and just buy this. Its true the bits on Cairo are great but so was all the stuff on Luxor and other areas. We did an off the beaten track cruise (Aswan to Abu Simbel) and had guides with the package and there was not much on the minor ruins and temples here but then its a huge fat book as it is. The descriptions of Karnak are great! Enjoy Egypt - its an fab country with wonderful people and an AMAZING history.
