Blue, a troubled young man with a strange past, enters into an experimental cryogenics program. Unfortunately, as with most government projects, things go wrong, budgets are cut, and projects are abandoned. Blue awakens, not in the short-term time he was promised, but years and years into the future. This is a world without morality. It is a world without structure. It is a world, in essence, without God. Blue, who has found God during his cryogenic sleep, finds himself in mortal danger at every turn. Danger takes the form of the beautiful nude woman who rescues him. It takes the form of a young Jewsih woman Blue is mysteriously drawn to. It takes the form of an elderly Jewish man who has no use for Blue or his version of God. But mostly, it takes the place of a supposedly benevolent semi-deity who controls the world he now lives in. Will Blue find his place in this world? Can he retain the faith he found in his cryogenic chamber, or will he crumble like the civilization he has become a part of. Or, is everything he sees a part of his lucid dream. Blue comes to question his own sanity as he seeks to unravel the mysteries of his new existence.
