What spurs a person to kill someone, especially dancers from New York City? The police believe that there is a serial killer on the loose. Gloria Strand isn't so sure. Things start happening after she joins a dance troupe and goes on tour. She is offered a movie script. A murder occurs while she is trying to expand her dancing career. Along the way, she meets her husband, Rory. Rory Randall hires a bodyguard to watch over his wife. Other dancers are in danger. A second murder happens. Dillon Andrews is one of the other dancers who disappears. Trying to find answers, she talks with her father. Guy tells her about an old murder mystery film. Gloria's next discovery matches the film story. She has stepped into the box and knows the clues to the second and third murder. The killer comes after Gloria.
