Maintaining the family winter tradition, Pastor Haugen with his wife, Helen, and three teenage children whisked away to South Lake Tahoe after Christmas and stay until the New Year. Upon reaching their destination, they noticed a Range Rover has stalled in front of their property. Two gentlemen are waiting for roadside assistance. As a kind gesture, Pastor Haugen and Helen offer the comfort of their home until help arrives. Their especially pleased to find out one of the strangers owns a property fifteen miles away. The family has settled in, and due to a sudden change in the weather pattern, conditions worsen. It's late, roadside assistance calls, and it may be several more hours before anyone will arrive to help. Once again, the two strangers are offered a generous act--this time to stay the night. As the evening is bowing into night, moral compasses are revealed, and the once believed congenial strangers are in fact gay. Conversations explode! The entire household is fixated on the pastor's actions to maintain control. Everything he's spent his entire life teaching and preaching is now on the line. Will he remain within the will of God or does human nature compel otherwise? A murder? An accident? Someone dies before six o'clock the next morning.
