Environmental consulting offers the curious combination of blue and white collar tasks, with high earning potential which many achieve. Inspecting buildings or properties, you will probably wear jeans, maybe even the proverbial blue collar shirt. Writing reports, analyzing data, advising clients, and sales are clearly white collar business, technical, or scientific tasks. You may have one office, but enjoy going many places and meeting many people.
