Ever since their parents died, Greg and his brother Paul have been having nightmares of a mysterious house with a labyrinth of never-ending rooms and horrifying creatures lying in wait to devour their souls. In the dreams, a shadowy figure has always been present, guiding them deeper and deeper into the house. Then one night the dreams change, and without warning, the mysterious stranger takes their children. When the brothers awake, they found that their children were actually missing and there is no hint as to who took them or why. Enlisting the help of two childhood friends, the brothers begin an odyssey to rescue the children. They will enter the real house from their nightmares and come face to face with the stranger who abducted their children. The stranger reveals himself to be Anubis, the Lord of the Dead, who draws them into a treacherous game of cat and mouse with his brother, Horus, where the lives of their children and the fate of the human race are at stake.
