You?ll want to read a sample of my novel even more if you saw Sofia Coppola?s film, with Kirsten Dunst as Marie Antoinette. History's bimbo. Poster girl for wretched excess. Beheaded at 38, to wild... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Being a historical novel fan, I really enjoyed this book. Marie Antoinette has always held a certain fascination for me but always seemed so ficticious. Jeanne brought Marie to life for me and made her a very real and extremely admirable person. I wished I could have been her friend. One does not have to be interested in historical novels to enjoy Blood Sisters. I would love to see this made into a movie - it would be beautiful!

This book is truly an interesting read. I have a totally new perspective of Marie Antoinette and a clearer view of the times she lived in. I know how her story ended, but the book was so good I found myself rooting for her to escape. I'm looking forward to the author's next book.
