This is a well written book. You are left to form your own opinion of the guilty party. The history of the family was well researched. The author must have taken an enormous amount of time to research the topic. Well presented!! A must read.

I grew up less than five blocks from where the murders took place and I found the book very interesting, Chris Jacobs was found not guilty on all counts but he was later found guilty of kidnapping Helen and he is now spending time in jail for that. Being that I did and still do live so close, I found that the book was very interesting, especially in it's description of Milan and Athens, both of which are the exact same. True, the Kunzes were not very hygenic but that does not give reason to point and say that Kenny is a 'dimwitted' son. He is actually very bright from what I have been told. The house has since been burned to the ground so nothing of this tragedy remains to the surrounding communities and they can try to put it behind them. The one thing that is still standing and the same is the Jacobs' farmhouse which is on Highway 13 North of Abbotsford 6-7 miles. I know many people still get the creeps when they drive past. But for now the Kunzes rest in Milan cemetary, directly across from my fathers grave. May they all rest in piece, for now they are in God's hands and we should be worried more about where we are going to end up.
