Blood Mountain

By Shigeru Brody

Three teenagers are missing in the Montana wilderness.

Their counselor has been mauled to death. His satellite communicator, medical supplies and map were left beside his body. The teenagers are alone, injured and two days from the nearest highway.

Black Pine rescuers Nora Vale and Cal Rusk join the search. They soon discover tracks nearly a foot wide and a mutilated deer abandoned in the forest. Something enormous is following the teenagers.

The creature is a grizzly unlike any Cal has encountered. Wounded, deformed and impossibly large, it pursues its victims with terrifying patience. It circles around them, blocks their escape routes and waits for someone to fall behind.

As thunderstorms flood the mountain roads and sever the only bridge out, rescuers and survivors are trapped together in the backcountry. Their ammunition is running out. The injured cannot keep moving.

And the bear has learned exactly where they are going.

BLOOD MOUNTAIN is a relentless wilderness creature thriller from Shigeru Brody, author of the Black Pine Rescue series. Each book can be read as a standalone adventure.
