Matara gazed back at him with a pitying demeaner that seemed to be glassy and lacking compassion. It was like he looked past rather than at him and was devoid of any connection.
'You just need to trust me, ' was his toneless reply.
Matara then swept past Padicum and hoisted himself up onto Arkanara. The great dragon thrust her massive wingspan toward the ground and began to rise into the cloud-covered sky.
