A great, relaxing read

A great relaxing read that transports you back into Savannah's history. A story told through the eyes of two seemingly opposing characters because of the color of their skin, only to learn the many similarities that bond them together in blood, mind and soul. Perfectly written in a touching and down to earth style that recaptures pieces and fragments of local history. A must read for our younger generation.
