Blood City: Book Two Of The Monster Keeper Series

By Jeff Seats

WORK CAN BE DRAINING . . .

Agent Liz Adams survived her first day on the job with the Center for Specter Control . . . barely.

Proving herself on a mission to save stranded bus passengers from Vamp Town, Liz quickly shed her "rookie" status. After witnessing the carnage caused by the bloodthirsty vampires, she fully embraces the secret agency's reason for existence, which has not changed since it was founded by Theodore Roosevelt in 1890-to keep humans and monsters apart.

Now, hot on the heels of her last mission, Liz is about to face a more formidable challenge.

The rogue vampire, Vladimir Rurik, has vowed to revive the race of immortal bloodsuckers and wreak havoc on the world. Liz and her partner, Craig Wright, must track Vlad down and eliminate him before it's too late.

Until then, people will die . . . or worse.

With the help of her former drill instructor, Master Sergeant Terry, Liz and Craig venture into the legendary Shanghai Tunnels under Portland, Oregon, where Vlad has established his lair. The crumbling, dank, subterranean passages are filled with danger, where many have already fallen prey to the vampire and his growing family.

No one is safe in the darkness below the city, and only death awaits.
