Patty and Matthew Thompson spend a relaxing weekend at their cabin deep in the Maine woods. The weather turns turn cold, and a freak snow storm kicks up. They start their hike out of the woods toward home and the storms becomes vicious dropping heavy snow making visibility near zero. As Matthew guides them out of the woods, they have no idea that danger looms on the trail ahead. Suddenly without warning, tragedy strikes.
