Devon Patterson moved to the city from the countryside in pursuit of his dream to become a poet. After almost a decade of no success, he has become less inspired and more self-destructive. The only refuge he gets, from his occupation as a shady crafter of fake profiles at a dating website company, is the occasional gamble and stimulant boost. Self-destructive tendencies and a gambling addiction don't make stable lovers. His dreaded life of routine is interrupted one morning when a homeless stalker of his breaks into his apartment. He may just be Devon's only true fan. What starts as an annoyance, turns into a surreal conversation and examination into what Devon has become. Can he find the inspiration he once had?
