Blimperts Time Adventurers: Benjamin Franklin and the Brilliant Question

By: Long, Solomon

How can one person help make the world better?

Solomon, a thoughtful college professor and scientist, asks his students this important question-but he is not sure how to answer it himself.

His guinea pig, Blimpert, may be able to help.

After accidentally consuming one of Solomon's experimental formulas, Blimpert begins to understand words, read books, solve problems, and learn at an extraordinary speed. Solomon believes Blimpert is still an ordinary pet, never imagining that his little guinea pig has secretly discovered a hidden path through time.

Determined to find an answer to Solomon's question, Blimpert travels to Philadelphia in 1753, where he meets Benjamin Franklin. Through Franklin's printing work, experiments, civic projects, and love of learning, Blimpert discovers that changing the world does not always begin with one enormous act.

Sometimes it begins by noticing a real need, asking a thoughtful question, taking one helpful step, and bringing people together.

Benjamin Franklin and the Brilliant Question is the first book in Blimpert's Time Adventures, an illustrated historical-fiction series that blends adventure, science, curiosity, and real history into an engaging story for young readers.
