Blessings is the third book released in the Cursed Series, and is dedicated to healing the masses who struggle every day with PTSD. This is a book that focuses on holistic healing, without pharmaceutical treatment and includes your own faith based mind set. If you plan on using this book to heal overnight, you might as well put it on a shelf or sell it on the internet. Just like anything good in this world, healing takes time, practice and patience. You will find exercises that need to become routine to reinforce a positive thought process. Your given a variety of treatments to choose from as not everyone needs them all, and everyone heals differently. Remember, I am not a doctor. I have PTSD, have done my research, healed myself, and simply want to give you the means to heal yourself. It has taken me decades to gather information, experiment and figure out what really works and what is harmful. I have been disgusted by how so many are pushed aside and given only drugs to create an addiction instead of a breakthrough. It's very difficult to find a physician who has studied enough to even understand the disorder, let alone be open minded to recommend treatments from other doctors or deviate from the simple, money producing path of medication. Why listen to me? Because, not only have I been through it, I've come out of it successfully and want more than anything to help others. If you want to know the definition of PTSD, google it. It will tell you the basics and maybe even include the medication or a treatment given to most who have been diagnosed. If you really want to know what it is, ask someone who deals with it every day. Talk to those you know, who have dealt with childhood abuse, combat or chronic trauma. Go to the streets and shelters to talk to homeless Vets. Ask them about their everyday thoughts and how they have affected their lives. You will find anxiety, depression and links to many other disorders of the mind. Then read countless case studies, articles on treatments and experiment with each to see what works. Or, you can read a book from someone who has already done that for you. Someone who has studied with passion, not because they wanted a paycheck, but because they wanted to survive. Have you read the suicide rate of those with PTSD'. This is why I write, to spare others from the agonizing pain mental illness produces by unaware self-infliction. I am here to tell you, you're not alone. You are not irreparable, and you are worth every solution.
