Vasundhara's always been right on the edge of crazy and the supernatural stuff. Blackouts hit her, whispers too, and these visions of creepy shapeless things that started when she was a kid. They scared off doctors, priests, even any kind of logic she tried to hold onto. She figured out how to get by, basically living alongside whatever's been stalking her. That worked until the nightmares started bleeding into her real days.

She says yes to going on this trip with her pushy boss, that sarcastic buddy of hers, and this shy guy handling the camera. The place is some old forgotten house full of bloody history. Vasundhara figures it's her shot at answers. But nope. The house turns on them, starts sucking the life out, messing with their heads, pulling up all the old tragedies from folks who were there before. In those rooms, the past doesn't stay buried. It loops back in bits of pain, deals gone wrong, betrayals that hit hard. Everything circles this huge monstrous thing called Baphomet. It dangles salvation, but only if you give in completely.

She's got these visions marking her, gets chased in her dreams, and the only thing saving her sometimes is her weird black cat Leo stepping in. Vasundhara sees it then. The house isn't haunted in the usual way. It wants her specifically. Her family blood has this curse running through it. Every bit deeper into that estate drags her toward what happened to the others: getting possessed, sacrificed, or just plain damned.

The book pulls you into this deep psychological horror, with occult temptations and doom passed down through generations. Walls start squeezing tight, friends falling apart one after another. She has to face it all. The truth hits that she wasn't some outsider dropping by. She was the one the haunting had been waiting for.
