Tragedy to Beauty

This is book two in The Peshtigo Fire Chronicles series and it sweeps you away into the midst of what it’s like to survive a terrifying fire and lose your family. Charlotte is on a quest to deliver a locket for a friend and it becomes a journey of endurance, finding hope, and relying on faith. The characters are so real and bond over their suffering from traumatic events. The journey from Wisconsin to Kentucky is interesting and full of adventure and surprises. As they encounter two young lads the story becomes even more interesting as I loved the addition of these boys. A story that flows off of the pages and straight to your heart. I really enjoyed the writing style and how it captures your attention from beginning to end. An amazing read that you will not want to put down as it shows how God turns our ashes into beauty.
