While some may consider this a book of "poetry", I believe it is more a book about thoughts and observations about day to day life and encounters with both the mundane and the slightly strange. As I typed out these thoughts I realized that many of my thoughts about the observations I made recently and long ago have held up over the years. I thought things had changed very dramatically over time, but I now can see that while things have changed superficially, deep down they observations about life and about people remain very much on the marks. Though I may "see" things a little differently than say an average person working a blue collar job, or even a white collar job, I still see the same things they do, though I may describe them using different words and phrases. In this book, I also try to explain some, not all, of what meaning the words hold in my mind. Instead of leaving the poems, and I use that word lightly, to the interpretation of others, I try to tell you what hey mean to me...the writer of the words. With that caveat, I will also be happy if anyone reaches out to me and wants me to explain more deeply what my poetry means...if I can remember.
