G. Lee Romans has been and done many things in his life. He helped deliver meat and parked cars. He was a door to door salesman, hawking items from cutlery to vitamins. He has worked in department stores and malls, selling clothing and fine suits. He has worked on a factory floor and been a Union Steward and labor representative for UAW Local 974. At the time the largest local Union outside Detroit Michigan. He became one of the most successful Realtors in the Peoria Illinois area in the late 90's. He has also created and ran his own business's, and is currently a landlord. He married when he was 17 years old, a father twice over at 19 years, and is still wedded to the very same lady. His stories and poem's reflect his trials and success's in life. As well as the momories of those who forged and influenced him while becoming a man.
