After staying close to home last year at Missouri's Lake of the Ozarks, the Brotbakers have decided to head all the way to the East Coast to soak up some sun and sand in Virginia Beach before taking in the historical sites of Colonial Williamsburg. This will be a new adventure for Curious Cousins Cinde, Clay, Lutie, Steena, Steven, Bart, Beau and Little Drew. For their parents and grandparents, it will be a nostalgic trip down memory lane, harkening back to their family vacations of old. The Cousins' friends Trevor and Rosie will join in on the fun again along with Steena's new pal Liza.

The kiddos have decided to adopt a pirate theme for this year's vacation. It seems fitting since their school mascot is a pirate and crazy Uncle Stef does an awesome impersonation, "Argh, matey " They plan on meeting a few buccaneers at Pegleg Pete's Restaurant before exploring the coastline aboard the Jolly Roger. However, they're in store for much more than they bargained for when they're confronted by the spectral menace of the most bloodthirsty pirate who ever sailed the Seven Seas. Why does terrifying trouble always seem to follow the Curious Cousins and how will they escape the horrible fate of Blackbeard's revenge?
