Dystopic without any real dystopia?

Ill try to keep this brief. The book is written great, that's not the problem. The problem is this is listed as a dystopian novel when the actual "dystopia" is barely explained. Sure, it's mentioned here or there. But for this to be listed as "post-apocalyptic", "survival", and "dystopian" is a reach when the state of the world in this book is hardly addressed.
