Black Pain't is a story centered on a well-profound speaker and icon, Aaron James. James comes to the characters' city to deliver a speech about the totality of life and encourages the people to practice self-love while using their gifts to live their dreams. There are 25+ characters that, throughout the story, help drive Aaron's message home. Most of the characters are poets, they are all interconnected with one another, and all have been through trials that continue to affect their current conditions in the story. The characters are all confined by the issues of society while enduring punitive circumstances.
