The police have their theories of the crime and Whitman has one of his own. Following it takes him through love affairs, old and new, and a drug deal gone bad. Caught between a past he'd rather forget and an uncertain future, Whitman must confront both and deal with the consequences of his choices. Ralph Loder wrote his first poem in third grade. He's been writing ever since. While raising a family, he worked for actuaries for twenty years. Black Chrome is his first Blake Whitman novel.
