Here in America today, the question is asked has race relations in America changed since the 1960's? Travel through the mind of a young man searching for answers to what separates the haves and have nots. Is it simply race, or is it something deeper? His journey forces him to look at his blackness historically, and presently. He observes the struggles of his people today and historically. He uses poetry to analyze the teachings of some of the most influential figures in the minority community. Specifically, he uses his word to compare the philosophy of, Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. He dares to question the status quo, and he simply does not accept what he is told Are you ready to uncover some hidden, yet obvious truths? This is the BLACK experience as seen by a young man, frustrated with how things have been, how they are, and he is looking to be part of the change
