What makes this version of Black Beauty different from the others? Its told from the horses point of view. Everything that makes Black Beauty, Black Beauty is thrown right out the window. You'll soon learn that poor Beauty had a really trying life, occasionally broken by the odd whiskey and oats or the odd kicking, biting and thorough trampling of people he didn't like or really liked. The horse is seriously mixed up yet still good natured. The male readers may wince at certain areas. On the whole you'll be chuckling, sniggering and rolling around wracked with fits of laughter as Spike Milligan presents Beauty's life as Beauty saw it.
