What I liked about the book: Good Table of Contents; the author seems to have actually traveled to the continent and has a real understanding of the differences in foods based on the country the recipe is from. The illustrations of foods, land, animals and other information about a particular item, makes you understand what it's like to be there. Most of the recipe items are available in regular supermarkets, especially ones containing International Food aisles. African cuisine contains a lot of veggies, meat and of course, spices or seasonings. It's fun to create a new dish for family and friends now and then, right?
