TITLE SHOULD BE: I COULD HAVE GOTTEN SO MUCH MORE FROM HIM. 1993 Book is outdated, so no spoilers.

This is a VERY partial book by a very jeolous, bitter and disgruntled business associate whose main aim was to embarrass Björn without seeming like a true enemy. Its got some stealthy writing that tried to make you forget this is a CLASSIC tell-all. By classic design; admit to your own crimes at parties & dabbling in the 80s, exaggerate plenty, protest at the same time & frame everything as if YOU are the victim of a self-centered arrogant "spoiled brat". The author never stops writing about BORG'S control then his lack of it by telling tales with second hand hearsay that is itself quite weak in the shock factor. Björn fell for the wrong women. The author never stops on the minutia of the domestic problems Björn endured by living with and parting from these ladies. Its boring gossip you'd hear from an old lady- not a professional businessman who literally can NEVER be trusted again. He lapped up the lifestyle until Borg decides to get out of that business. (with Italian randoms? Probably for the best.) This book was published before Borg AVOIDED the bankruptcy of his fortune that people wrote he suffered. According to the author Björn had all his money locked up. I So author DID settle out of court, ( again AFTER he ratted on the man who he says trusted him with private fears & pain by publishing this lame playboy-be-bad book). With Björn as his friend, he travelled in private planes helicopters, all over the globe in the finest hotels in the sweetest resorts & even the White House. The author got very wealthy & developed his own bad habits, ratting out friends with tattle tales & using planes, whirly-birds, fancy cars all on an expense account that Borg had to cover. I mean whose the victim here? Imagine a friend doing this!! He doesn't stop insisting the Borg tried suicide despite the fact that Björn denied it & was released in a few hours. All the author cared about was putting THAT man he called friend, in front of as many cameras as SOON as possible to DENY the suicide story DESPITE (and this is the meat of it --author's character) the fact that he claims to believe the Björn was in a serious mental crisis, that SHOULD have been the most urgent fact, not some press conference! His OWN account is that the business was more important than a man's mental health! A man he already painted throughout this otherwise pedantic list of meetings, dinners & contract suggestions, as made of steel & stronger than normal & terrible at picking partners. Just because a man fights for custody of his son doesn't make him a monster. This book works to shock and do harm only because Björn Borg was so quiet, polite, prprofessional & modest in his public tennis career. YES he has challenges, even problems but he didn't deserve THIS. Its SO outdated; Borg is married for 22 yrs and has a whole other family. People need to know that now.
