Bitten to Death

Having started with book 1, one is captivated by the creativity of Ms Rardin not only is the reading a classic page turner featuring high adventure, bizarre humanoids and monsters with the occassional werewolf and vampire thrown in just for kicks, but one cannot wait for the 2nd or 3rd book (Or 4th in my case and looking forward to #5) to hit the stands. I read book 1 and 2 in Maui within three days. Jaz continues to kill the bad guys while trying to convince herself of her feeling to Vayl and finding out someone is trying to raise the assassin (and attempted world level dictator) Samos Jaz has killed and burned to ash (he was a vampire, why wont he stay dead??) and that wasn't in her mission statement. And just to complicate her life jaz continues to meet with the mysterious Raoul and a ancient king!! Well I don't want to give away all the action let's just say should you enjoy action, dark fantasy with a touch of romance I highly recommend the entire series. Ronolus

I miss Jaz and Vayl!

This is a 5 book series so far, with the 6th book due in October called the Jaz Parks Series by Jennifer Rardin. I am so very ready for October to be here! I miss Jaz, Vayl and gang. Jennifer Rardin, the author of this fantastic series is such a good writer and has an awesome sense of humor. I laughed out loud at parts of all of these books and was on the edge of my seat the other times. I'm including all the books in this review and I would recommend it to any and all paranormal/urban fantasy book fans. You are really missing out on a great series if you miss this one!

Jaz rocks!

I have enjoyed the whole series so far, and can't wait for #5 which I have pre-ordered. Jaz Parks is a great character, well-developed, who drags the reader into her world: she is a government assassin whose boss and partner-in-assassination is... a vampire. Many of the bad guys are other-worldly, so it helps to have some on your side. The plots twist and turn and keep you careening along with the story. Don't start this book in the evening; you'll never get to bed.

Jaz Parks, book 4.

Jennifer Rardin has given us another brilliant extention to quirky Jaz Parks adventerous working and personal life story. Jaz Parks has an addicting way of sucking you in to the pages; her hilarious coments to her stark raving mad personality make for and enitcing read that will have you turning the pages quicker than the speed of sound. Jennifer is able to capture your emotions before shoving them back into your face at a double wammy pace. Enabling a reader to feel the joy of Jaz's working progress and worry for her problems in her screwed up life is what makes jennifer a wonderful writer. I have never read a story that has managed to have my heart scrunch up in jealousy, in sympathy for a character,making me feel as if it is i who had been dealt a blow personally, as i have when reading along with Jaz Parks. Jennifer's unique way of writing and her brilliant way of bringing her character's to life is what makes the entire Jaz Parks series one of the best i haave ever had the joy of reading.

Wonderful, can't wait for #5

This was an exceptional follow up to the last three books. Jennifer Rardin moves the professional relationship between Jaz & Val along smoothly and takes their personal relationship to just the right place (no I'm not telling!). She also brings along Jaz's brother for the ride. Very good plotting and sensational story line. I can't wait for the next installment!
