What is important in life?

This is a great comedy with a message for everyone. Most of the main characters in this movie have a problem with focusing on what should be important to them. Bishop Henry Brougham (Niven) is more focused on building a cathedral as a monument to God than on the purpose of the cathedral or any alternate use of money. Mrs. Hamilton (Gladys Cooper), who holds the purse strings, is thinking the cathedral is more of a monument to her late husband. Even an angel named Dudley (Grant), sent to help, gets sidetracked in the process by the bishop's wife, Julia (Young), who, in turn, may be distracted by a hat. The great acting of major stars will distract you. Watch this movie to find out how and if they can recognize their folly and what they can do about it.
