Classic Photo Essay of 1970's Birth!!

Its from 1978 and it is a classic example of birth from that time. Chock full of terrific, graphic photos, it truly captures and expresses the myriad reasons that the natural birth movement has steadily gathered momentum. The subjects of the photos are rarely seen in books today; they include: shaved pubes, performance of episiotomy, forceps, vacuum extraction, epidural injection, cesarean, upside-down babies, and some early examples of natural birth and birth with father present. I'm a big fan of photo essays, and this is a great example!
