Bird Boy by Ben Steinlage is an adventurous story of a 13 year old boy who finds himself in a terrifying situation. The first is the realization that he had fallen off something. While trying to remember what had happened, he finds that he doesnt know his own name. To make it worse he finds himself in the talons of a giant bird. It isnt long that he learns this bird is a Thunderbird, and that he needs the boys help. With his new friends help in learning who he is subjected to unbelievable adventures in New Mexico. He finds himself helping Indians relocate to an involvement in a battle between the large birds and dragons.
