Orphan diseases, also known as rare diseases, are medical conditions that are usually chronic, debilitating and, in many cases, lack specific treatments due to their low prevalence, affecting a very limited number of people compared to the general population. The aim of this study was to analyze which rehabilitation processes, intervention and biopsychosocial models are most applicable to people suffering from orphan diseases. This book is the result of the work of professors from the Universidad Metropolitana de Barranquilla/Colombia and their work at the Fundaci n Centro Educativo de habilitaci n y Rehabilitaci n Integral San Camilo (Ce Camilo).
