BIONIC WOMAN 2007 V01 (DVD) (ENG SDH/SPAN/DOL DIG 5.1/2DISCS)

Blasé typical application of soap relies on a snappy title.

This is a typical filler for those times when there is nothing else to present on TV. This is a standard soap opera with a few, not too many, quasi-sci-fi visions sprinkled in with no logic. Michelle Ryan, with a thick British accent, is cute, but there are a lot of cute actresses. I wish her luck in finding a vehicle that has redeeming social value and not this mindless rehash of old plots. The writer of episode 1 (2007), and executive producer, David Eick, admits that he is not trying to make a science fiction story but a sappy story of what it means to be a contemporary American woman today (2007).

Updated Bionic Series for Serious Fans

While nothing compares to any TV series from the super-cool 1970's it is interesting to see this show in more modern settings, as long as it's kept decent.
