This book presents five chapters as follows: The first discusses the theoretical foundations of biochart, the second deals with the generalities of CO2 capture, the third chapter reviews a laboratory level work to design a biochart column system for CO₂ capture from lime kiln emissions (Lime factories from limestones); the fourth chapter refers to the capture of CO₂ by biochart from coal coking emissions, and the fifth chapter has tests of biochart loaded with CO₂ in forest soils.At the end, annexes are provided, such as a list of application tools app of biochart uses, as well as a procedure for calculating the carbon footprint at the individual level and a glossary of terms related to the subject.It is considered that this contribution is a starting point for the kind readers to initiate the theoretical and practical aspects of the use of the biochart in the capture of CO2 and with it a way to search for reduction or mitigation of industrial emissions...unless it seems better.
