Bimodal Teaching and Legal English Research

"This was the beginning of our current Legal English Seminar at the Catholic University of Cuyo San Luis (Argentina), which is both face-to-face and through a virtual environment. This is a teaching experience, fascinating and still open to future developments, which seems to us worthy of being told. In this work, therefore, we intend to narrate and describe how we ventured into the fields of blended learning of Legal English, as well as to show how we conducted a real research on the students' beliefs in this subject. We are at the beginning of a discipline, and like all beginnings, we have advances and setbacks, enthusiasts and skeptics, scholars and just "visitors" to the subject. But nothing is lost: every teacher and developer of the subject helps to produce a daily growth in this "sub-language", in this discipline (Legal English). And, although the phrase sounds trite, we can say that... there are already many more of us."
