My goal is to create a children's book that teaches and inspires younger learners to understand that bullying and discrimination is prevalent and wrong. I chose to create a children's book out of all the different types of literature because children grow up to become teenagers and adults. If children do not know clearly that bullying is inappropriate and negative behavior, it is highly likely that they will be involved in the act as they grow up. Therefore, I thought it is effective to write and illustrate a children's book that portrays a negative aspect of society, but uses a colorful and bright way to deliver the message.
