Billy Bean is a new series of short stories of first experiences of a young boy called Billy and his father. The stories tell of Billy's first hand experiences of going to the dentist, going fishing and going into hospital, told with humor. In the first story "Billy Bean goes to the Dentist," Billy realizes that going to the dentist for a filling wasn't as bad as he thought it would be. In the second story "Billy Bean goes Fishing," Billy goes fishing with his father, his father teaches him how to cast and how to land the fish, it just takes a little time and practice. In the third story "Billy Bean goes to the Hospital," Billy goes to hospital for the first time and has his tonsils removed, the story explains what happens in hospital and when Billy goes home to recover.
