It's an unseasonably cold winter in Galveston, Texas, adding to the already heavy burdens brought on by World War II. But, for shy, pacifist, diner owner Bud, it's the perfect season to find "something real" in the guise of Lula, a big, blustery woman with a heart of gold (and a mean home run swing). "Big Women, Little Wars" is a one-act romantic comedy for 5 Men, 3 Women, and 2-4 extras of either gender. Running time of the play is approximately one hour.
