Big Little Lies

This book was a nice read for me, something that allowed me to turn my brain off after a stressful work week. I watched the show last year so I already knew the twist but I still had a good time. I identified with Celeste a lot, her character was well written and it’s clear the author did a lot of research on DV. It’s a shame to me that Jane’s character didn’t seem to get the same amount of care and research, she felt glossed over to me.

Exceptionally good. Hard to put down. Mystery and secrets til' the end. You will love it.

Hard to put down. Very interesting group of women. (They are so articulate)They are more in tune w/what is happening around them. You won't believe the ending. GREAT READ!!!!

Kept My Interest

So many books have parts that just drag out. This one kept my interest throughout the entire story. The ending was wild but entertaining. I would recommend this book.

So so good

I'd vaguely heard of a cable show with this name when I stumbled on this book while house-sitting for a friend. I needed a book to read and the synopsis sounded interesting enough.... and then I read the whole book in 24 hrs. Great characters, great writing, great everything. I could not put it down and have since read every Liane Moriarty book I could get my hands on (some are great, some are just good) Definitely worth the read and I'll probably read it again in a few years.

Captivating Story

Weeks later and this story is still running through my mind. The characters are beautifully crafted. Each piece of the story is delivered at exactly the right time. This book is everything I wanted it to be.

Not enough words to portray the greatness that is Big Little Lies

To keep it short and sweet, if there was any book that I'd like to completely forget and read over for the very first time again, it's this one. There's nothing quite like a good plot twist and this one has the best possible one.

intriguing mystery

I really appreciated the way that this book addressed violence in relationships and the emotions that are involved in that. The school drama was a fun look at the dynamics of a classroom with all the different parents. I really liked the murder element of spending the whole book trying to figure out who died and how. This was an interesting read!

Good book

It took me a few chapters to get into this one, but by the end I was racing through it to see what was going to happen and how it was all going to come together.

Do you love a twist?

If you love a twist and drama then this is for you! Even though a lot of the characters do shallow petty things, I thought they all had some amount of depth which keeps you invested in the story.

I read "The Husband's secret" and it was fantastic! I heard about the series "Big Little Lies" on HBO from a friend of mine and I decided the book must be good as well. I loved every minute of the suspense this novel created!! This author is now among my favorites!

a surprise ending..

This book is for readers that enjoy a well-crafted novel about ordinary(mostly) women with a twist of an ending. I have bought another of Liane Moriarty books (The Husband's Secret) & am reading it now. Highly recommend her books that I have read & will probably buy another one, too.

Kept me guessing!

I couldn’t put this book down. Every twist kept me guessing right up until the end! Easy to read a bit of juicy drama peppered with a twisty murder plot.

Easy read!

This was a great book, and I can see why it was recommended to read on vacation or at the beach... Such an easy read and I enjoyed the storyline.
