Pretty useful

This was really helpful; reading the RFCs online is OK, but since a lot of them refer to other RFCs, it's easier to have the book to flip through.

Yes, it's a collection of RFCs

It's kind of weird that some people seem surprised to find that this book, titled "Big Book of BGP RFCs" consists of almost nothing but RFCs. As if someone is trying to pull the wool over their eyes. Not!The title says it, the introduction says it, and the description from the guy who compiled it says it: almost everything in this book is available on line. If you happen to want to have a convenient way to refer to these RFCs without printing them out yourself then buy this book. If you prefer to record all your music off the radio, then by all means print them out yourself and save a few bucks.I've printed out a lot of RFCs and put them in binders, and I'm happy to save the trouble of printing, punching the holes, and putting them in a binder. So what if it costs $30--if your time is valuable, then it's worth it. I like the index, too, which gives me something I can't get when I print the RFCs out myself. If you want a collection of RFCs about BGP, with an index, then this is a great book.

Convenient package, even if they're all online

I bought this book because it's a handy package; I use the online archives all the time, but I also print out a lot of RFCs, and I like having them all in a book with an index. The author states right up front that all the RFCs are online (even gives URLs for an archive....) so it's not like he's trying to pull a fast one or anything. If you're some uber-networking-geek, then you probably have some secret macro in emacs to help you read RFCs, but for the rest of us mortals this is a convenient alternative.

Veryu good border gateway protocol book

I would recommend this book to anyone interested in BGP. It covers the protocol in a detailed fashion. If you know cisco router configuration, this book is for you.
