Water is most essential for life, yet most people in the world lack access to it. In many developing countries, people walk many kilometers to reach a source of filtered water. This project proposes to take on challenges associated with the accessibility and cleanliness of the water in developing countries by building a filtration system that is portable, durable, and cost-effective. The project contains a bicycle equipped with the filters and a peristaltic pump which we can pump the water from the nearest water source through the pump and pass it through the pump and then collected in a container. The pump is powered by pedaling the bicycle, where we can use the bicycle for two purposes like for travelling and water filtering. Finally, the water is treated can be drinkable.
