With minimized bodies, infant doll faces, and feathery white hair, Bichons are an extremely engaging breed whose looks are upgraded by an enthusiastic, amiable air. They are frequently confused with white Poodles. The Bichon, as he's tenderly called, is identified with a few little breeds: the Coton de Tulear, a pooch who began off the African coast on an island close to Madagascar; the Bolognese, reared in northern Italy close to the city of Bologna; the Havanese, from Cuba; and the Maltese, created on the island of Malta in the Mediterranean. Bichons likewise seem to have begun in the Mediterranean and to have been brought on exchange courses into different nations.
