Biblical Mentoring: What Some of Our Favorite Biblical Characters Teach Us About Mentoring

Although the word "mentor" cannot be found in either the Old or New Testaments, when we look through God's Story, we can see how Scripture is rife with examples of mentor/mentee relationships, along with other relationships that give us insight into mentoring. These relationships passed down, generationally, the teachings and examples of God. In this book, I have written about 12 of these relationships in the hope that we can learn from both the encouraging and the difficult experiences of these men and women.

Each chapter stands alone, although there is more to be gleaned by working through all of them, and each chapter concludes with a series of reflection questions that will be of benefit for you personally as well as for taking into a group study to help train mentors.
