The stories in Daniel contain some delightful repetitions that bring laughter to children.
The intention is not to entertain, but to get a parent and a young child together for oral reading, and then for a child who has begun to read to have some good, short, literary masterpieces in easy form, to use tht reading skill. It ay when an interest also in reading the Bible itself, with all the deeper and troubling realities they will find there.

This series is written by a long-time pastor, who chose to leave seminary teaching to communicate with "ordinary" prople in their own local churches. He loves the Bible, and children and families..
