Bible: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth

Just like an owner's operating manual is to a new appliance, the Bible is our owner's operating manual for us during our time here on earth. It provides us with instructions on how to live and how we operate (i.e., our purpose and what we were designed for).Just like the name of the manufacturer who designed and created the appliance is stated in the owner's manual, the Bible tells us our designer and creator was God. And just like an appliance is complex with various mechanical and intricate-engineered parts, so are we Just like the inventor of the appliance loves and intimately knows his product, the Bible tells us God loves each of us and knows us intimately. God loves us so much that he not only created us uniquely and individually, but also deployed his Son Jesus down from heaven as a sacrifice to cover our sin debt.Just like the owner's manual stipulates the necessary power source (power cord, batteries, etc.) needed to operate the appliance, the Bible tells us that our power source is God (collectively, God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit). And only when we are plugged-in and connected to God, can we operate effectively, fully, and successfully.Finally, just like the appliance has a warranty contingent on various actions by the consumer, the Bible provides a warranty (ticket to heaven) dependent on whether we ultimately come to know, believe, and receive the Bible's core message about Jesus. Specifically, whether we end up repenting (turning away from our sins and turning towards God and His ways) and placing our trust in Jesus as personal Lord and Savior.In summary, it is critically important that you read, understand, believe, and obey God's instruction manual.
