Unable to afford a shrink-or the amount of wine he was consuming-the author thought making other parts of his body hurt may take his mind off the ache in his heart. To this end he rather haphazardly set out to walk the Bibbulmun Track, one thousand kilometres of beautiful path through the southwest corner of Australia.

This is not a guide book to the Bibbulmun Track. It's not a guide book to anything. This is simply an account of why one man chose to walk that track and how he did it; his experiences, thoughts and impressions from along the way.
