When a deep space fishing vessel is robbed by a gang of pirates, the Captain makes a daring decision to go after a rare and nearly extinct species. On the hunt, his obsession propels them further into space and danger as the crew spins into a downward spiral of mutiny and betrayal.
Doomed from the start with so-called director Ken Locsmandi. He was responsible for the disastrous “Apocalypto” (2006).
On the plus side, Ashley Lamber made an attractive Automated Ship(voice).
A very cheap space opera based on a Moby Dick obsession. The captain (Spencer Hill) could have been Captain Ahab JR., even has a stuffed Moby Dick placard on his wall. There are quite a few cute girls to make up for the bad dialogue. What is this you hear growling in space? I can understand the sound of guns and blasters, but not growling.
One last cheap, quick encounter and an inference ending. If they wanted, this could be a pilot or at least a sequel.
