Challenge to think and grow

I'm amused by the scant reviews here of a negative nature. These people apparently want to deny the author -- and likely anyone -- the right to share (or even have?) their own spiritual expeiences and insights. Being a natural skeptic, I was doubtful that I would be even informed by this work. By the time I'd made it 1/3 of the way through the book, I had a deep sense that the author is sharing completely authentic expeiences; a truth manifested on the pages that in my case, made sense to my entire being. I would be surprised as time goes by if Beyond the Broken Gate isn't recognized as one of the more insightful and thought-provoking spiritual works to come along in a very long time.

BTBG: The One You've Been Looking For

There are many books on spirituality, but none like this. This is not the type of book you will finish and then wonder, "Did I miss something?" because it failed to give you what you were really looking for in the way of spiritual insight. This book speaks to the heart, the mind, and most of all the soul. Those who are more spiritually advanced will probably appreciate it the most because it affirms what they feel they somehow know already, as well as providing encouragement and incentive to work even harder on getting all they can out of this life. The less developed souls will find much food for thought in this book and may advance considerably along their own path if they can put aside their prior "programming" and read it with an open mind. Regardless of where you are on the spiritual path, you are likely to find this book fascinating. It's the kind you can't put down once you've started reading it, and the kind you want to share with others when you've finished. If you read only one book this year, this should be it.

Change your life; read this book.

I've read many, many books in my life, none that woke me upto the extent this brilliant work did. I'd never heard of Charles Graybar before but frankly, who ever heard of Gary Zukov, Sylvia Browne or the rest of them before they started making all those appearances on Oprah? If you are unsatisfied with your life or feel empty, or, feel that there has been something "calling to you" for as long as you can remember -- something that you can't quite put your finger on, read this book. Your eyes and your heart will open and your soul will soar. There's another posting here that talks about waiting for the author's next book and I second that opinion completely!

A thought provoking experience

This was a very unique book. I cannot compare it to anything else I've read. It was a thought provoking experience. I noticed that you can go to serenityhillpress.com and read a sample chapter from the book. Once you do, you will want to read the entire book, it's that good.

Insights Indeed

Before I bought the book I was a little skeptical on whether this book was going to be worth my while. I read a great deal of books in the new age genre, and originally thought this was going to be narrow book with no real themes. I was certainly wrong. The themes are so universal, that no matter what god you believe in, you can relate to the experiences in this book. Without a doubt this is one of the best books I have read in years and highly recommend going on the journey... Beyond the Broken Gate.
