Unfortunately it was written by high-schoolers that some how sound like middle schoolers. The stories have so much potencial to be interesting if they had any personal style of writting. But it's clear these kids learned specific sentence structure and never moved on from it. Every story seems to go "this happened and I felt this way about it because of so and so" and on and on.
